Once you duplicate this template into your Notion workspace, your copy is yours. That means you’re 100% free to change it to your liking.

Add new pages, database properties, or even full databases! Your template is your oyster.

Important: The databases in this template are locked by default. When they’re locked, you won’t be able to add, delete, or edit properties.

If you want to make a change to a database, you’ll need to unlock it. This is very easy to do:

1. Find the database you want to change at your Databases page.
2. Near the top of the database’s page, click the Locked button to unlock the database

Once you’re finished making changes, I recommend hitting the ••• menu at the top-right of your database page, and then re-locking the database. This is especially important if you’re allowing other people to use your template.

In general, it’s good practice to keep databases locked during normal, day-to-day use. This prevents accidental deletions and other unwanted changes.
