Koji touts itself as “the first ecommerce platform tailor-made for social media sellers”. The focus is on templates that let you get started selling quickly. Essentially, it’s an extensive “Link in Bio” service for taking payments or donations.

Pricing is a bit…complicated: “When you make money, Koji takes a small transaction fee. Fees are listed on templates.” So the price depends on which template you’re using (and, by extension, what you’re selling).

The “Sell Digital Products” template, for instance, charges a 5% fee per transaction:

5% transaction fee seems to be pretty common across many of the templates. Indeed, per Koji’s Help Center, “Each template on Koji has a different fee structure for any transactions made; most are 5% (which includes 3.5% going to credit card processing fees).”

So, as far as I can tell, Koji doesn’t charge separate CC fees, which is unusual.

Some templates, such as Link Locker or Locked Audio, charge fees as high as 15%:

Others, such as Fund My Project 2.0, charge a 10% fee:

In many ways, Koji seems to function more as a sort of app store or marketplace for templates rather than a payment platform. I imagine this could make support challenging since the templates are from different third-party app developers.
